Has anyone here had any luck/experience with Clown Tangs? I had one a long time ago and could't get it to eat at all. I tried everything, i'd like to get another but i don't want the same experience. what are the Dos & Donts with these guys? how can I give it the Best chance in my tank?
THANKS

I had one for almost a year but it got murdered by my powder blue tang. Totally my fault as i knew 2 tangs from the same genus acanthurus shouldnt be in the same small 180g tank.

As usual only get one that is actively feeding at the LFS. I got the smallest one as they grow large. It is also important to give lotsa flow as mine was a strong swimmer, im talking 15,000+ gph in a 180g! and dont forget to quaranteen in an established tank.

Good luck!

I've had several Glenn. They r one of my favs. The last one, I had for about 4 months was fine got along with other tangs was eating. Until I bought a powder brown who had gotten ich and dang near wiped out all my fish. But they r one of those fish that are extremely hard. A LFS owner told me that if ur not 500+ gals then don't try.
