Well. I figure one quick look at the tank before bed. There before me was my Coral Banded eating something. I noticed a claw and for some reason quickly thought hermit crab molt. But on closer inspection I notice the two claws were different. One short and compact, the other long and narrow. Pistol shrimp!(which I knew I had)Then as I ran to office for camera and back it was retreating to to behind the rocks.
But not until I saw the length of the pistol claw. Atleast 3/4-1 inch long, which I would guess put the body at about two inches long.
I'm on both sides of the fence here for I would have liked to kept the pistol in the nano I have set up instead of it meeting a ferocious battle to its death. But I now know I have preditor gone. Although I haven't lost any fish to it I don't believe.

Was that exciting? Good night.
