Great read. Claims and supports that most hobbyists reef tanks are not getting the nutrition they need to reach maturation and spawn. They are barely kept alive and so the flesh of the coral on sps is like a coat of paint, when in fact it should be thick.

Glad to say I feed my coral lots of different food types and add amino acids and other protiens. Fellow reefers ask me how my coral grow so fast. I say it's the combination of feeding and water perameters.

i need to get this issue...
i fully agree heavy feeding for lps and even sps, but also overskimming and constant waterchanges to keep the param's up

i use to believe alot fish or i mean fish poop will take care of my sps but after heavy feeding/alot of fish/and alot of skimming, my colors havent looked better....been doing this for the last 3-4 years and my sps thrive and grow...
