Hello all so I am new to the hobby ... after a couple months of research I decided to start collecting some equipment. I paws line up to buy a 60 gl cube but it ended up not working out. Found a 50 ish gl Pentagon corner tank and picked it up.
Well I bottle necked myself into sump spacing given the odd dimensions. I can really only fit a 10 gallon footprint comfortably.
So I have been playing with some design ideas and wanted to get the thoughts of those more experienced.
What do you think is better, a larger skimmer and no fuge or an appropriately sized skimmer and a small fuge.
My idea was to run a Bubble Magus Nac 5.5 or Reef Octpus 110 SS and this would allow space for a small roughly 3 gallon Fuge section. Or should I forget the Fuge all together and run a bigger skimmer.
Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
