I'm thinking of switching to DIY LEDs. The only problem is I can't solder. Would someone be willing to help me solder my LEDs if I buy the stuff? Thanks.

Easiest thing to do on building leds is the soldering. You can always practice by pre tinning your wires.

Step down master, I think I'm ready...

I don't know how to solder for anything, but I tried and after the first one, you'll be like, wow this is so easy... lol
Very true, soldering is the easy part.. hardest part is setting up the leds in sequence and setting them on the heatsink. Soldering just takes for ever! Lol

hahahahahah this is funny soldering is CAKE..when i first started i thought soldering was going to be the hard part..but it really is easy. You just have to learn how to tin the stars and make sure u tin the iron and keep it clean. Once you get that down its super easy. compared to all the other crap you have to worry about when making a fixture, soldering is honestly kind of soothing. It is time consuming, but since it ends up becoming the easy part you kind of end up enjoying it lol for me the wiring ending up being the longest part..cutting and stripping all the wires took FOREVER

I wouldent mess with the pots ..they work well for the maxwellen but meanwell don't work to well with them. If I were you, I'd just connect all my drivers to you apex and be done with it!
