I was having some problems with sump been to small and stores not having one how I wanted so I made my own....
First got a tank the size i need 18x18x18
For the layout i copy [MENTION=3628]BeanMachine[/MENTION]; (cody)
Sock to skimmer
Skimmer to cheato ( need to get some)
Cheato to return pump
Cut some acrylic to the inside size with a small cut out on one end for the water to fall to the other side.
Good luck making your own sump.....
