VorTech pumps have been around for awhile now. I haven't used one.
Anybody using VorTech pumps?

I was looking at the new MP10 for 2.5-50gallon tanks (more affordable)

I have an MP20 in my tank. I love it. I don't know how big your tank is, but you might want to consider the MP20. The nice thing about the MP20, is that you can upgrade it to an MP40 if you ever upgrade to a bigger tank. The MP10 is smaller and more compact, but you can not upgrade it.

I have 4 MP40'S and the only think I dislike is thats on 3/4'' glass I can not put them on pulse mode because they fall off besides that I love them.

mp10 is going to be one of the hottest pump in the market. We have like 100pcs coming.

great for nano tank since it's so small and so powerful and controllerable and much cheaper than tunze 6055 pump.

are the impellars/propellers supposed to be replaced yearly?

I have the MP40W... I've had mine since 12/07 and I just had to send one of my pumps in to have the wetside fixed. Otherwise I like them.

I have mine running for over a year, there is no replacement. There is 1 year warranty on the pump, so anything happend in the first year ecotech will take care of it.

We are thinking of offering a 1 year aditional extended warranty on all of all equipment for a small fee. I am going to run this by the boss next week.

I have a 60g rimleess, will water splash out with a MP10, MP20, or MP40?

mp10 is the same/similar as mp20, just small in size. If you like lot of flow go with mp20 if you want more power than upgrade to mp40.

There are like 4 wave options for you to play with.
