I have tried water and actually got it shampoo washed at a car wash but it just came back after drying. These are old stains I'm talking about.

Maybe they just did a bad job, I'll try shampoo washing myself and hopefully it'll work.

I removed salt stain with a carpet cleaner vacuum it had a brush attachment and I use a spot cleaner that removes old stain from red wine to sweat stains. My car seats look like new. It dried fast because it was sunny.

If its old it needs to have lots of rounds of flushing. So if no electronics. Take the seats out and aoray the sh!t out if it. Hit it with a brush and laundry detergent. Then wet vac. They also sell this foam spray you can use. Brush it. The. Wipe or vacuum. Foam works well for me.
