Honestly I’ve been thinking about that, but my wife wants so desperately to get out of this state. Now that she is in the top 15% of content creators that might be happening soon. As she wanted to have an income that could travel with us. So maybe after we move, but honestly I’m not sure I could sell this tank. I built the dam thing from scratch with my own hands. It’s kinda special to me.

I did have great success with LEDs for a while and then all of a sudden I don’t know what happened if they change the spectrums or what but unless you were running all blue, the corals kinda just look bland under white light, now that I’m running halides again my corals are popping like crazy and they’re looking amazing under the halides

Almost on the 3y mark and the system and tank are doing great. Unfortunately, life has been hectic for me so corals aren’t doing that great most of my SPS has died off mostly just softie now. My tang clan is strong though 13 in total I believe maybe 15.

Thank you. Can’t deny my passion for corals has dropped off a cliff. I haven’t tested my water in 5 months, at least. Every time I go to a shop my wife wants to go too. So yea we end up seeing something she has to have. It’s the reason we have 3 lavender tangs. Next on her list is a blonde naso, a gem tang, and pair of blue spotted rays.
I’ve at least told her we have to upgrade before she can get the rays. She wants the 700 Jimmy has on the back wall of the norco store.

Finally a year after buying a 55watt UV sterilizer I finally installed it.

Everything else has no changes. Still running the I-Tech200 skimmer and refuge

Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to use full spectrum LEDs instead of white LEDs

At least the MHs cancel out the full spectrum LEDs.

Just pick up some Quanta meso blue bars, they are designed to replicate the ATI blue+ and VHO actinic combined, the best companion to halides.
