I was wondering if anyone is experiencing or has had experience with pipefish. I recently picked one up and am wanting to make sure it adjusts to the tank ok, I want to make sure if it is eating but can't really seem to tell. I purchased some live brine shrimp to help acclimate this fish to a captive diet and am also feeding it brine shrimp. I finding out that pipefish are hard to keep so thus far it has been somewhat of a challenge and I still have not seen him eat for sure. Do they feed at night by any chance? If anyone has experienced pipefish I would be interested in hearing how you handled them. Thanks

what type of pipefish? Even though I have a dragon pipe in my fuge right now, I would say that I havent had much luck with pipefish. You want to make sure there are no stinging corals especially anenomes. Most likely if they are in a tank with other fish, they will not be able to get to the food in time since they are so slow. Make sure your have plenty of rocks and pods for them to munch on.

Not sure what type of pipefish this guy is, I have not been able to ID him yet. Is it a good idea to put live copepods into the tank? I think I saw him munch a frozen mysid but really very slow to feed.
