Hi all,

This morning when I was looking at my tank/sump I noticed what looks like some kind of film forming on the water surface of my ATO reservoir. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I've never seen this before.

Off the top of my head it seems like it may be bacterial growth? If you look closely at the float switch you can see a small dead fly on it. Could something like that dying near/in the ATO reservoir lead to bacterial growth?

If it is bacterial, I guess I'm not too worried about it since our tanks are basically bacteria processing machines. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks Jose.

What do you think could be in the source water that's causing this? This is fed directly by my RODI unit and nothing has changed there that I know of. Showing 0 TDS output, DI resin about 1/3 used up based on color change.

Looks like lots of dust in that room. You don't close your ato reservoir? I see a lot of dirt and dust even on your ATO acrylic top.
