Been on the boards for a few months now and I think its about that time I say Hello to everyone on the boards.

I've been in this hobby for about close to a year now and still learning a lot. I currently have a 75 gallon Euro brace low iron Lee Mar Tank with a 40 gallon sump. I have some softies and LPS. I was trying out some SPS, but been having a difficult time with keeping my parameters stable so decided to opt out until I have a bit more time to work on it.

Other than that, I am looking forward to meeting new people and contribute my knowledge to the boards.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm located in Rosemead.

Zoarder i'll post some photos tomorrow when I have a moment. Nothing too exciting just rocks, fish, and some corals :sarcastic:

Bumping an old thread since the time I posted about my 75 gallons I ended up moving to a new place. Since then, I've upgrade my tank and now I'm rocking a 180 gallon set up instead. so here is a quick photo of my display since the upgrade. Still fine tuning the parameters but its getting close to where I want it. :)

Ay Jesse! Good to see you on SCR as well. Man... why you gotta put me on the spot like that? :) I'll take a shot of the filtration in a bit...or post it on another thread in the FTS ... hmm....

Alright ... because Jesse requested here's the filtration running my main display. This was taken a month ago before the water heater was removed. Hope some of you know what the heck is going on with my plumbing :D

Wow! That's an awesome setup! Mind going over how the plumbing works?
Sure! pretty much one main return external pump is going through the wall which goes directly to the main display. The rest will go towards the manifold and the refugium tank . Everything goes back to the sump.

Holy sh!t.... That is beautiful work, my hat goes off to you.. Just started in this forum (newbie) and and so far talk to nothing but great and helpful people which made me want to try my hand in this, but after looking at that maybe I should rethink this

Thanks Paulie. I wasn't planning on showing the filtration area . I feel like it could be a little bit better. The only reason I came about this is my best friend set up inspired me to go this route as well. It really ends up making things a whole lot easier with maintaining it at the end of the day. I'm more than happy to share my knowledge if you have any questions. :)
