Hi all,

Today, I took out my zoa paly island rock and decided it was time to start fragging. I also wanted to clear off the rock to start over with smaller zoas instead, since it is a small tank.

Before shot:

I wanted to remove the green palys. I like them, but they grow very fast. And also the UC palys, which I can't remember if they are called fairy dust or cinnamon apples. Don't like them as much and they grow too fast, too. I wanted to keep the pink hot toddys and see if I could salvage any of the King Midas or firecrackers that are hiding under the palys.

Well, here's the rock now:

Oh, and I put what I could onto frag plugs so I can sell them for $$$$$$. Here's the mess:

Now the frags are in the tank. Don't look horrible, but certainly not professional!

Mostly got the cinnamon apples. Only two of the green palys. Expect a post from me soon and start saving for these hot fire ultra zoas palys!

Great job for you first time. I was going to give you some suggestions on tools but it looks like you have a great setup. The only thing could add is that I use disposable scalpels and eye protection.

Had my goggles and medical mask on while taking the photo!
