Help:afraid: how do I get rid of flatworms that are on my elegance coral? Is there a fish that eats these things? Currently I am removing them with the turkey baster, is there a faster way of getting rid of them? All help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

i have the same problem. I have tried to suck as much as I can each water change but they reproduce too fast. I heard spotted mandarins do pick at them. So, I got one but I don't see them eating the flatworms at all. I guess it is a hit or miss thing. I also was told that melanurus wrasse or other types of wrasse do eat them. I think I'm giving up on the idea of having a livestock take care of this problem. I am going to bring out the big guns and will be using salifert flatworm exit. LMK if you want to split the cost because I heard you don't need to use alot and it cost like 20 bucks.

I dip everything in my coral farm in revive. I have see flat worms fall of the corals in a few seconds. I have not seen any problems with any of my zoas LPS or SPS coral from dipping in this stiff.

Buy this stuff its called flatworm exit i have used it 2 or 3 times in my reef tanks over the past 5 years and it works like a charm and doesn't hurt any of your coral. I promise this is your best bet! you just add a few drops and you can watch them die instantly. You want to do it right before a water change and siphon them out when you see them starting to die, you also want to suck as many of them out before the treatment because when they die they release toxins.:top:

I always dip everything for 5 minutes in revive. Once 5 minutes has come I put them in the tank. This helps me acclimate them and kill all parasites at the same time. Works great.

I also have a radiant wrasse and I had a fairy wrasse, but I lost him a while ago when I switched my tank over and it crashed.
