Second time I overflowed the washer with my RODI waste water. This time I left it so long it flooded my whole office. Luckily it's tile floor and I don't think too much damage will occur but da** it!

It's making me rethink the four-layer 4' x 2' x 6' gorilla shelf system I'm starting to build in there! Well, maybe this is a good thing. I can better think how to outlay things for damage control.

At least its rodi waste and not salt water. All you gotta do is push broom and towel. And washer as in washing machine? I haven't heard if that one yet but good idea. How does the wash cycle start since its already full of water?

Yes, washing machine. I got the idea from another reefer on here. The washer just fills any remaining water it needs or just starts washing if it's full.

Can you put one of those washing machine or hot water heater trays under your reservoir and have that drain outside.

For those out there, don't use the automatic timer for topoff and automatic system to drain water out, especially in an office setting. I had a catastrophe with the auto-timer filler and flood my and neighbor's office. My office management company sent in a "remediation" or "rip-off" - bottom feeder company and charged me $19K for repairs.

i ran my system in the garage but i never thought of waste for washing good idea. Installed RODI unit and used my source of water from Washing machine spiket and drain was right next to it. so i ran tube (approx 15ft from RODI unit (waste) to drain. I can still pull out and flush system and put 1/4 tubing in washing machine.
