Don't mean to side wind my own thread. But after I set up my tank and got my gravity fed resivoir to line up and work I'm noticing that I have with lines at the very top of water line in dt
I guessing calcium? I never use to see this because I got my r.o. and salt water from CG. But now my water source is the city of Tustin.
Is this going to cause and issue?
Guessing more maintenance? Is this bad for fish? Now mind you the city water source is going Thu a 4 stage r.o and dual d.i. set up.
Please advise...

No matter what water you use own rodi top or lfs rodi in your salt you r going to have the white residue on the water line of the tank. Thats normal and all you have to do is wipe it evry couple days to avoid the white marks. Its not bad for the fish or coral. As long as you r getting around 0 tds from you r unit ur good, hth
