I would do a big water change to help with the po4 and then dose until you get your cal, alk, and mag correct. after that circle back to the po4 issue.

I would do one big... Not like 50% or anything crazy, but that said, smaller water changes at this point will EVENTUALLY get you to where you want to be, but by doing the smaller water changes, you are actually diluting your dilution. I would do maybe 20-25% water change then monitor. You don't want to throw a new tank out of whack. There is always time for that later........

Only lps one large water change or multiple smaller one will help in all dept. Then test and add cal and gfo. Mag is good but might want to bump it up. hth Actau;lly your tank is not that bad. If you cant keep sps then check to make sure your temp and ph are stable. I dont think its ur parmaters that is keeping u from keeping sps.

its weird ph jumped to 8.77 or 8.78 sometimes. temp has been really stable at 73.5 yes that is low but i acclimated them down to this temp over course of a month or 2

Check you probe / recalibrate or replace. verify you have a high ph issue. Then solve the problem. Having high ph is very rare but not uncommon.

i stopped dosing cause my magnet stir died again ph is at 8.61 maybe it is too much kalk lol
Just throwing it out there but if your ph probe is near where the kalk is being dosed then that may throw off the numbers too. I would re-calibrate the probe and see if it's reading the same thing.

Don't recommend it but you can drop it by dosing vinegar if you really want to take that sucker down :)

I don't think u have a high ph problem. I think ur probe is off. If u did have a high ph then u r fish would be very stressed or die and corals would also not survive. I do feel u lack stability with ur ph and that's the problem. Hth
