I dont think serpent stars generally bother corals.

I keep two large serpant star in my 180. They take care of the leftover food before it rots.

I've heard that they can be aggressive to other tankmates, I'd be careful with it.

Darwf serpent starfish. Its reef safe. Dont get big enough to bother any fish and the are scavengers.
