I am Chis, I am new to the hobby and Forum! I am getting married in septmber..wow wedding are expensive!!! I love looking at reef and i am getting excited thinking that I am a few months from having a piece of ocean in my bedroom.

I have a 34 gallon solona thank...ANY advice on how to set up for reef? once ready coral and fish? any advice on the type of reef I should start with as a beginner

So you have a few months to add coral before your wedding, after that, you'll be taking coral out.. jk. If you are just starting, start with LPS like GSP, xenia, kenya, cheap zoas and if you do good, upgrade to SPS and higher end zoas.

Welcome.....not sure if the bedroom would be the best place for a tank....imo....it can be loud ...I would go with a lot of softies as well but don't select any softies that are invasive like Kenya tree....for gsp they are nice but make sure they sit on a rock island.. .Congrats on both....your new marriage and your new tank

Thanks..everybody!! I am super excited and cant wait to have my tank ready for coral!!! the truth of the matter is that I am overwhelmed with all of the kinds of corals..I will be asking for a lot of help here!!!

Welcome to SCR. You came to the right place. There a lot of people with useful information. I agree with you about wedding costing a lot of money.
