I noticed one of my zoa appears to be melting. It closed up, shriveled and got really dark overnight. Looking closely it has small white bugs crawling all over it. The bugs appear to be eating the dying zoa. I now notice the bugs all over the tank. Are they attracted to the dying zoas... or did the bugs kill the zoa? I removed the frag and dipped it in revive, here is a pic of the bugs.

I tried to get a better pic. Single polyp was in tank for about 10 days, was starting to develop 2 additional polyps at the base. Seemed healthy.

doesn't look like the average zoa pest but its good you dipped it in revive I would wait a few days then do a furan dip and the reasoning behind that is for secondary or initial bacteria infections better safe than sorry good luck and keep us updated so that we may all learn from this experience

From everything I've found it pods, so I picked up a mandarin goby. I hope he can make a dent. Thanks.
