Hey guys and gals, I just posted this up last night in my local forum in San Diego but knowing the market and the price point on some of these items figured I would get the word out here as well. Also, I am up frequently in LA for work (have an office in Santa Fe Springs, stay DTLA usually, and also have big client in Torrance) so could possibly deliver if convenient and depending on the item. I would not deliver the tank. I'll do my best to keep this updated - please bare with me as I do travel a good amount.

High end BNIB equipment!
Well it just doesn't look like setting up another tank in San Diego is in the cards. With now a forecast to move to FL early next year I'm thinking about unloading all this new equipment that I've been holding while setting up a 150g.

Pics will come as needed but most of these items if you are not aware of what they are just do a google search as they are BNIB as noted. Will need to text pics for anyone interested. Also adding more as I realize what else I have (yes, I'm a fellow reef equipment hoarder). I'm not looking to ship any equipment.

(2) GHL Mitras LX7206 (Black BNIB) - $700/each - $1350 for both
(2) GHL Mitras Flex Mount hanging systems - $100 each

GHL 2 stand alone (2 pump doser even though picture on box shows 4 - you can add to it) - (Black BNIB) $280

(2) Ecotech MP40QD's (BNIB box manufactur date Nov 20, 2015) - $280 each

1 Ecotech Battery Backup (bought used) - $100

1 Vectra M1 Return Pump (BNIB) - $330

1 APEX Gold Controller System (BNIB) - $700

(2) Vertex Libra Dosing Container 5.0L (BNIB) - $75 each

(2) Vertex RX-U 2.0L Universal Media Reactor (BNIB) - $130 each

1 Advanced Acrylic 50G Sump (Brand new - still in wrap) 36x20x16 with 3 chambers, probe holders - 1/2" acrylic, hand polished - $425

1 Vertex Cerebra Prima Controller (BNIB) - $600

1 Ebo Jager 300W heater - BNIB - $25

1 Milwaukee Digital Refractometer (used) - $80

1 Dropcam HD 720 - extremely easy to set up and used as a webcam on my previous reef tank. -$80

1 Vertex Alpha 170 Skimmer (bought used but I never used) - $400

I also have a used 150G (I never set up but it is a used tank 48x30x24, starphire all sides, clear back but purchased black vinyl to cover back if you want) Has a slightly off center overflow. Was originally purchased from AW. Will include a not so great stand with it in addition to a much stronger/taller larger stand frame built by Daveocean. I may be able to work out a finished cabinet with Dave for the buyer. $500 without finished cab - will need to work out finished cab with buyer and obviously higher price point.

Serious buyers only - FCFS - I do travel quite a bit but will try to check this thread and my PM's for timely response. Weekends are usually best bet for pick up but if I am in town I also try to work from home a day or two a week

Not sure why I can't update my OP anymore - not seeing an edit option but both MP40QDs and Battery Backup sold. Nice to meet you Lynn. Good luck with the new set up.

Tank and stand sold. I do have an extra older 30" tall stand with a open canopy for free if anyone wants it. It is designed to fit 150g 4'x30" deep tank

You gotta know the Cerebra you have for $600 was selling a year ago for $375 and this version of the Cerebra, which was called the beta is so faulty it is being totally replaced with all new hardware and software. I think anyone who is seriously considering your price needs to know this.

So I had looked up the controller and saw it was listed for $799 and did a bit more homework including reaching out to Vertex direct. Turns out you can swap this for no additional cost for the new version that is being released and that is definitely not going to retail for $375. Nobody has to pay my asking price - lord knows I've giving some smoking deals on the majority of what I've sold over the years. Here is the quote from Vertex and I can provide the contact info to anyone that purchases.

Here is Vertex response to my question on selling the Cerebra Prima

YeahI know that,I have one. There has been no quote on what Ver.2 will cost or that any sold for $799. There have been a few that bought them for $600 with buyers not being told they were beta units. Vertex stopped the retailer from doing that as soon as they got wind of it. I have no consideration of your selling anything you have for what you can. Today Ver. 2 of the Cerebra is just vaporware and saying its worth $600 is cautionary.
