I have some rock in my garage that used to be live in an aquarium. It has been sitting dry for several years. What is the best way to make it alive again to place in a larger aquarium that I will be upgrading from a smaller aquarium?:noidea:

+1 what Alex said. Doesn't have to be a lot of LR depending on how much "old" rock that you have. Just place it in a rubbermaid tub with some LR, heater and a powerhead to give it some flow too. Good luck!

You might want to soak the old rock in RO/DI freshwater for a few days before placing it in saltwater with live rock. That way anything harmful/dirty can leech out into the freshwater.
