Has anyone had a successful way to cure this problem without relocating all fish from the DT to QT? Please share your experience with me. Thanks.

What you could treat it???? I did research and everything I read said 4 weeks fish less was the only way to get out of the display.

I have some angels, tangs, and wrasses. Can I use fish keeper in the DT? No corals or inverts.

It's likely that treating and curing are two different things. It's like ich...its in most of our tanks but doesn't show itself because the fish are stress free and happy. The tank carries the pathogen so it's not cured like if it were left fallow but the fish show no signs. I'm just guessing here...

From my research brook is different in two ways from ich. Ich won't always kill the fish so you can have a system with ich as long as the stress levels are kept to a minimum. Brook attaches itself to the host and takes it out regardless. Unlike ich once a fish gets brook it's pretty much a goner. It has a shorter life span than ich does too.

waaay back based on chads recommedation i used fish keeper also. It did work most of the time. No adverse affects to anything in the tank that i saw. brook works fast so i would decide what your going to do asap.

It's been going on for about 2 weeks. Some fish got the typical symptoms such as rubbing, heavy breathing (at times), staying in front of the power heads for prolonged periods of time, and looking pale. Their still eat well. I've increased my water change routine, changed to a new UV bulb, and dosed either the food or water with focus and metronidazole. What more can I do?

I've read formalin baths treat brook. But it's become harder to get a hold of lately and can be hard on fish.
