How to use WM CalxMAXCalcium???

Someone gave me Warner Marine CalxMAXCalcium part A & B. Not sure how to use it. That 'someone' that donated the CalMAX is not around so I'm asking you guys.

My guess is equal parts A & B? But how much & how often?
I know it depends on what I have in the tank but whats a good start?

I have a 180g with just a small handful of softies and SPS.

depending on how much your tank depletes the stuff. you need to test your water to see where you are at. goto tom, socaltropical fish and pick up some test kits. test the water before dosing. after you test, if your ca, mg, alk is low slowly add the 2 part. but you will need mg too. and mag to proper level. i normally dose about 3 caps of each every other day, and do a water change a week. but that how much my tank uses up.

agree, get some test kits
u really should know how much your tank is using
check your cal,mag,and kh at least weekly
nsw(natural seawater) contains avg 1280 mag
i personally shoot for 1300-1400ppm mag
8-10dkh, and cal at least 440ppm
remember if your stuff is growing these levels will fall,so stay on top of it and you will have better success
I have had good results with many warner products , good stuff if used properly
