Yea I think I got caught slipping on water changes. I have an ammonia alert bade so I thought it was good. I'll have to be more proactive from now on.

From what I read those conditioners you were adding for ammonia actually give you false reading, they neutralize the ammonia to be less toxic but its still there. Thats why I rather just do WC. Good luck!
