I wish I would have switched to a wavemaker sooner

For anyone not on the wave maker path, you should be. I kept delaying, thinking what was the point with all the normal power heads (i HAD 7 1200-2000gph) in the tank. I added 2 RW8s to my tank and after fiddling with the timing I have it on a setting that everyone in the tank loves. All of my LPs (froggies, Torches, Hammers) are all puffed up and fully expanded, my nems have fantastic bubbling and the tank seems so happy. I wish I would have ditched the normal power heads earlier.

I'm adding two RW4s for the back of the tank tomorrow.

How big is your tank? I have one RW4 in my new 40gal and it seems to be more then enough to keep future corals happy. It's definitely a great investment!

I have a standard 240, 96x24x24.

I'll try to post a video either tonight if I get home in time or tomorrow.

I'm still trying to get the night feature to work correctly, but I like the idea.

All you have to do is press the night mode button for about 3-4sec. During the day it stays in whatever mode you have it and changes to night mode once the sensors get triggered, changes to different setting

I've done that, twice, but each time after a few days it seems to stop. I'll try again tonight :)

I'm thinking of doing this with my 30 gallon tank, is there a small wavemaker people recommend?
