Someone asked me if it was better to buy RO water from the grocery store or Nursery Water... I told him I thought distilled would be the best but I wanted to make sure... Am I right???

I gave him some rodi water last night but he only brought one 5g jug and already used 3g of that to bring his salinity down from .028
He lives about 45 min from me so he's wanting to go buy some from his grocery store....

Btw, our moist popular lfs here sells RO (NOT RODI) for $0.95/gal. I can't believe they don't even offer ro/di! :/

Dang that's expensive for just RO let alone RO/DI. I was told Distilled is the closest thing and prob the cheapest route since you can buy 3 gal jugs for a few bucks.

Sounds like it sucks to live in Shreveport. Or we're just spoiled.

I've used regular RO water in my tank before. I would try to measure the TDS of the water you're going to use. If you use water with a TDS of 100, it's not like the fish or corals are going to die, you'll just get more algae.
