I thought the plank was a splurge. Yikes. That's a lot of frozen food that I can buy for $510.

It's a cool device and looks to be well designed. It's already out of stock again, so there definitely is a market for this. I rather like feeding my fishes and see them follow me around.

I am with you on loving watching the fish eat, but there are some species I would love to keep again that I do not because they will only eat frozen mysis. When I am traveling having a neighbor come over twice daily to thaw and feed frozen food is kinda of a PITA, also... kids in sports. I am rarely home at a good night time feed time.

So for some situations I can totally see it being worth it.

I mainly feed pellets so it would be useful for fish like copperbands or picky anthias. I don't have time to feed frozen everyday or like what @pledosophy said if I go on vacation I hate asking people to help feed frozen.
I'm curious but I'd need to see more reviews before purchasing.

I would rent one for vacation but can't justify the cost to buy one. I was actually thinking about giving away the only fish that I feed frozen before my next vacation.
