I have had this thing sitting in my stand for about 4 months now, lol. I am currently using the huge "Denitratior" block in my sump right now with no ill effects. The intake for the filter has been increased to allow a 1.5" slipxthread fitting. As for price, would be willing to trade for a SE 250w pendant or ballast(preferrably HQI or electronic) so that I can use it on the middle of my tank. Or, a few SPS colonies would be nice
