Hey everybody. So I have 2 Kessil a360x tuna blue and have been running them for about a year and a half. About 10 months in one of the lights started flickering, the fan went crazy and it basically started cutting out. I contacted Kessil and I was under warranty so I got a replacement. Well now the other original light is having problems. The last 2 days it hasn’t turned on in the morning. I was able to get it going yesterday but today I couldn’t. I took it off, sprayed it with duster and plugged it in. Now it turns on but the fan is on full blast and the white channel won’t go past 10%. So I’m assuming it’s probably broke too. If I’m past warranty I’ll be super bummed neither of these $450 light made it even 2 years.

My question is has anybody else had similar issues or am I just the 1 in a million who got dud lights?
Let me know what everyone’s experience has been with these lights.

Kessils tend to be pretty well made and last. I’d look into the environment you are keeping them in
I guess that could be something to look at. But I keep them in a super clean condo, away from any kind of dust, sunlight or issues that would negatively affect it. Compared to how they are kept at my lfs I’d say it’s probably not the environment. They are attached using the Kessil arm, no water splashes on them, they are run by my apex. I don’t know.

I had issues with my white light cutting out when ramped above 75% on 2 A360x’s. They where about a year and a half old. Kessil replaced them. Hit them up. They have excellent customer service.

Thanks for the info. I emailed them today. I’m sure I’ll hear back on Monday. They were great about replacing the last one so hopefully this one goes the same.

I had/have multiple Kessil products and echo everyone’s feedback on their customer service.

I had a few Kessil 360w and never had any problems with any of them. The only issue I had was with the Kessil H380 with a similar flickering problem (that light doesn’t ramp though) and only time I had to contact their CS, which was great. Also, the “fix” in my scenario was a new power supply - not sure if that applies in your case but thought I’d share.
