Anyone bought anything from LAX aquarium recently? Supposedly it went through a change of ownership and its doing a lot better but I went by there and saw one too many dead fish in their tanks to pull the trigger on buying anything.

Was there today too lol I mostly saw the dead fish by the freshwater stuff the guy there told me they had just converted those to saltwater from fresh. Maybe the tanks aren't cycled. They got some nice anemones. If my 120 was up & running I would of bought one of the large ritteris. Prices are decent also.

I saw them in the large display tank they have on the right. I saw at least 2 purples about 5" & 2 huge ones which im not 100% sure are ritteris but they looked like it. They also had one by the white bins on the far right.

I was there a few weeks ago and everything looked healthy. The owner did say they were going to be adding more tanks to the system, so a cycle wouldn't surprise me.

They are setting up a QT room, so hopefully it'll turn into a pretty solid LFS.

hmmm I saw a couple of dead clowns, some of the damsels had some sort of hole in his side like a desease, and there was some sort of eel that was dead and half eaten in one tank. I do agree service was great Im just super picky about where I get fish. I hope it does turn out to be a good spot cause the location is super convenient for me.

I would not purchase fish from there.....maybe live rock and snails. I remember purchasing a sea cucumber from them with out any side effects. If you do decide to start purchasing more than one fish from there, consider setting up a QT FIRST!!!!

Come on in guys. We are open 11-6 daily. With over 4000 ft^2 we are Los Angeles' LARGEST fish store. We have recently completed construction on our custom tank showroom that also features a 6000 gallon shark tank! Currently we are working on creating one entire system for soft corals, and one additional system for hard corals. This weekend we are blowing out some corals for as little as $9.99!!!
