LF: Special Grade Sand

Looking for 20lbs of special grade sand, dry and unused preferred. I tried all of the LFS in the valley (SFV) and no one has any currently.

Yeah, not too many LFS stock sand anymore, it’s heavy/big and takes up valuable retail space. I’ve seen a few LFS near me that has a couple bag sporadically. I had to get my sand online when I started the tank.

Thanks! I have plenty of Fiji pink I could use, but looking specifically for special grade. Great deal though!

I appreciate it, but looking for dry. It’s for my son’s tank, which I’ll give him some of my sand to inoculate it. I’m having Elliot from Golden State Corals order me some, so I should be good. I guess everyone uses Fiji pink or the black stuff now? I like Fiji pink for mixed or medium flow tanks, but my son is going full sps on his first tank, so trying to minimize the particulates.

I’m using special grade for exact same reason. It’s big enough to handle some good flow.

I bought two bags of this Caribsea dry Arogonite special grade sand. I ended up using only one bag. 40lbs. for only $25. I'm in San Diego.
