I have a lighting question this time. My tank is 36.5in X 15.5in and is 25.5in tall. How strong of a MH light should I be running. I would like to see some growth in my corals but I hear having to much light can keep them from growing. I know it really depend on what kind of coral I want but I would like to be able to have hard and soft in my tank.
Right now I'm running (4) 55w 20in PC. (2) white and (2) blue. I picked up what I think is a 400watt MH used a while back but it needs to be retro fitted. I have been a little reluctant in spending the time in doing this as the MH is looking pretty old to me. My luck would be that it would take a dump after I made a new hood and installed it. :hmmmm:
