I have a TruVu 40 gallon tank that is 36Lx15Wx19H

Currently have PC's. Bulbs are getting old.
I have two 96 Watt bulbs.

How many 36" 39w HO T5's should i get to replace my lighting?

Would two produce enough light? or should i go with 3 or 4?

I have everything in my tank. i.e. RBTA, SPS LPS Zoa's and softies.

help...confused1

I have read that people have success with SPS and HO T5's/

the SPS that i have in my tank are very high up to get the crappy light from my PC lights... with no growth comparied to my big take with the 400w MH's.

I have a 175W MH in the garage but the ballast is to big to hide in the stand. so not a option for me :(

4 T5 is enough light for your tank but it depends which corals do you keep in your tank....If you want SPS I suggest you should get the Metal Halide 250w.

4 or 6 t5's will be plenty with individual reflectors. i've kept sps under t5's as long as i've kept sps, until recently when i went with MH. i'm itching to go back to t5's, i had better growth.
