You can buy from Amazon the regular USB 2.0 cable, Male to Male. Function the same

This! ^^^^ just buy the double male USB cable and move on. Same with the Kessil "control" cable, it's a simple stereo audio cable.

I have never had any issue connect a usb 2 device to a usb 3 port.. ... but for this application (have not done it personally) it should be fine.
