Looking for tunze 6105s (best price)

I am kind of in a bind here, my tank is having some trouble and to make things worse, it looks like I ended up on the short end of a trade involving my MP40Ws. Unfortunately, one of the tunzes I traded for was super encrusted and after 2 hours in vinegar, I found this..

what's worse is that the control box (once I opened it) has some corrosion in it, so that pump is pretty much toast..

so now I have one wave box and one pump from a wave box for all my flow in my 180 gallon SPS dominated reef

I need another pump soon, but my wife has put the smackdown on my spending

hey, mike... i talked to roger about it over at tunze... problem is that may very well fail, the other problem is that it was offered as a 6100, but it turns out it was only a 6000 which is no where near enough flow anyways

you should bring the kids over to go swimming this weekend

You could try sealing the cable with silicon and electrical tape, but this isn't a sure thing. ~snip~ Typically water will wick back into the driver or into the motor over time and cause a short and failure of the pump and or driver

if by the end of the weekend, I do not contact him, either by returning or answering one of my phone call, or me just stopping by his house I will, but for now I am going to give him the benefit of doubt. could be he is tied up or his phone is broken or something, I have known him for years and this is very unexpected

currently I am worried about losing more corral due to lack of flow and this comes at a very trying financial time for us. I don't want to just go out an buy a coupple of K4s that I will end up replacing

thanks tom, for helping make this all work out. i just got back with meeting up with the unnamed seller, and between him and tom, i got hooked up with this, and am all happy and have good flow in my tank again
