macro ID???

I dont have any kind of reference that covers macro, wondering if anyone can ID this for me.

After scouring the web, about the closest thing to it is Fauchea laciniata, but that is just a guess.
Its real pretty. blue even without the tank lights on. maybe I'll set up a little nano to grow it out.

Search blue macro algae.. LOL

Dictyota dichotoma also known s peacock algae.. I've had it and it killed everything it touch by smothering.

Like I said it is very pretty.. but killer..

Also wont keep its color forever as it will eventually turn brown..

LOL. that was the first search i did and there are tons of flattened algaes with
blue color. As you can see in the pics i already removed it and put it in a specimen container, as i think any macro will quickly smother corals if left unchecked. and, yes it completely smothered the zoa rock it grew off of. I put it into a separate nano with some other macros because it makes a neat little display IMO.
