I've had this Maggie Muffler sitting around and never got around to installing it. Will it actually work better than the durso to silence the overflow? My tank has been slurping so I need to drill the hole on top of the durso just a bit bigger, and thought if worth it just put this thing on instead.

Do they work well? If not anyone want to buy it? :loldude:

They work pretty good, I put one the tank I setup at work. The tank is in the owners office and you can't hear it,And it was better than the durso I had on my last tank.

I also changed over my 100cube to one too, I used to be able to hear it from my bedroom at night. The tank is in the living room, but not any more;)

I plan to switch it out tonight. Thanks for the replies. I'll let everyone know how it goes. It would also be nice to have a bit more room in the overflow for cleaning and maintenance.
