any one see this article about a mass starfish die-off in epic numbers. The say a virus mutated and is killing them all off.

I actually collaborated with some of the biologists when I was at Cal State Fullerton last year to observe how much this disease had spread in our area.

In my last job I spend a lot of time working around Diablo Nuclear power plant and had a lot of discussions with nuclear scientist about that, turns out like always the public opinion was steam rolled by the media and nuclear material is not doing all the damage that the media will lead you to believe (shocking right). all the talk about nuclear material in our waters is only because the technology to detect it is so advanced. A banana has more radio active signatures then anything they have found in our waters because it was raised in the sun. all things are measurable and just because it can be measured does not mean its in a huge spike in normal backgrounds. basically scientists can see the radiation but it is less then eating a banana. I don't know where im going with this.... just saying fun fact since it was brought up.
