Hi everyone,

I’ve been puzzled as to why one of the zoa is closed up the last week or so.

when I took a closer look today, it looked like it had a white blistered spot on the closed zoa… I’m not sure what it is and I tried my best to take a photo of it…

When the coral opened up, it looked like this (anyone know the name of it)?

I don't see anything specifically wrong with the zoa. Where do you have it in the tank? Is it in an intense light section? High flow section? Some zoas are a bit particular about placement, so you might try moving it to a lower light zone. My Mind Tricks were almost melting in higher PAR. Thought they were a goner. Then moved them under my toadstool and they've opened up again and started growing.

Thanks for the input guys.

The zoa is sitting at the bottom of the tank where 1 of 3 polyps are opened. That's why I'm not sure if there's any pest of anything was annoying it.

When I tried to see if there's any pest, that blister was the only I can see. I'll take another look if it still stop opening...
