Hey everybody I checked my tank after cleaning all the rock due to algae build up. Brushed it off in tank never pulled rock. I have these little white balls all over rock and tank bottom. They seem to be grabbing to rock pretty well. Some squish but are really hard. I do not dose just run CalRx. Tank is about 6 months old. Also i only have mexican turbo snails. The balls are 1/6" to 1/8 "

Might have snail spawn and those may be snail eggs.

I have tons of white dots all over my tank and glass.

A few weeks later, tons of baby Trochus snails.

Can you turn off the blues and take a pic under whites so we can see the details. Blues absolutely destroy any details with pics unless you're using a good filter. Do they move? Collonistas maybe? Need better pics regardless.

The tiny guys are collonistas, they are very common and their numbers will ebb and flow throughout time. They’re usually nocturnal, so take a look at night and enjoy the free micro CUC.

Take a close up photo of the shell. If they are sharp pyramid, they might be Trochus snails. If you don’t have Trochus, then it might be collonistas because they are usually small.
