thinking of setting up a frag tank in a ten gallon glass tank anyone know what kind of setup i should get thinking of leds cause of heat issue or anyone have something i could use for sale of course.thanks :becky:

I ran MH over a 20 long for a couple of years with no problems. No fans, no chiller, no a/c. Just open top. A buddy of mine ran MH over a 12 gallon AIO, no problems there either.

MH or LED will probably give you the best growth.

Run what you want, and what you can afford.

If its a 10g frag tank just run 4 T5s over it. Don't run MH, it can shock the frags(too much light) and it will overheat the tank. Get a cheap 4 bulb fixture and run 2xATI Blue+ and 2xATI Purple+.

Yeah I also would go with a small T5 fixture. If its long 2 bulb would be fine, if it's wide 4 bulb is best. That's why dimensions would be best.

No that's garbage. The idea of a frag tank is to grow boogers into Mothers. You want some punch. If you want to do leds, they have a 10-12 led totally do it yourself on Rapid Led. Not difficult at all.
