I was wondering if they would even take one of my rusty cylinders, all the ones they had were almost new

There's an Airgas over on 4th in Rancho, they might do refills...The only place I know of that will fill em on the spot is the Airgas in Duarte over by The City of Hope...

Did ya try your local paint gun store?

I went to praxxair today.. and my tank really looks like crap. The refill was like $20.00, but then they charged me another $17.00 to do a test on my old tank. [it has been over 5 years since the tank valve has been tested/replaced]. So I paid $37.xx

Though the interesting thing is the guy behind the counter said my tank looked great.. and I just looked at my wife and said in a low tone. ."haha.. I really wonder now how crappy their's is..."..

TBH... the replacement tank looks nice :).. a hella nicer than my old one.

Guy's...welders need their CO2 to be just as pure as we do so don't worry about exchanging tanks. These places are a rip off and will rape you for as much as they can. First thing...stay away from Praxair, they are by far the worst. Next, setup an account with Airgas and tell em you want contractors prices. My buddy took our Argon tank down to AG a few months back, they charged him 70.00 to fill it...I went a week later to fill our 02 tank, the guy told me he could have filled it for 29.00 if he would have used my account....
