The spines on the dorsal fins of this fish are venomous. If you are stung, the reaction may be similar to a bee sting only a little stronger. :marchmellow:

some LFS are IDIOTS!
Not really, there are so many fish out there that is hard to know all of them. They go by what the wholesaler label them as. The most common answer I get it "They sold it to us as..." so don't be too quick to judge :p

Nice fish tho! May I ask where you bought them?
Bell Bird Farm, I usually don't go there but these were unique and I didn't have my phone to verify. I think I got a good deal, I'm happy.

I drove to 5 LFS today and most had the same fish, I was looking for small fish tho. I went to JDEllis and he had some cool wrasse I picked up. BBF had some cool blennies and gobies... shoot he had a couple of jelly fish in a tank.! Never seen jellys at a LFS before.

FYI... he looked at an old invoice and he read to me what they were listed as by the wholesaler
