new and getting used to everything

Hello I am new to this forum but I have been trying out this saltwater thing for about a year, I used to keep freshwater frogs but now I am interested in mantis shrimps and other interesting saltwater creatures.

I used to be a part of reef central but due to some irreconcilable differences we had to part ways. hopefully this new forum will have a more "southern california" oriented view.

also I am looking into getting a 40 gallon tank for my puffer fish, it doesn't have to be anything fancy, the cheaper the better as I am running low on fish funds.

haha well im sure as more and more people get banned from that site they will see that this site is a lot more interactive and I hope will end up getting more people from around this area in here.

The biggest thing I like about this site, is you can mention stores and great deals and they don't care. I love the fact that they are helping to support the Reef and Marine Aquarium hobby rather than hinder it. Again.......Welcome To SoCaliReefs!

Yep. My friend was opening a store in South OC and i made my screen name the name of his store and they banned me. They even blocked all my IP addresses!

wow that is pretty intense, I was talking about prop 215 and some 'mods' from out of state seemed to get offended at the mere thought of people receiving proper medical treatment.
