New Pectinia

Blam. Eating tons of FM pellets already and coloring up daily. Pink mouths are turning red.

Hopefully this little guy will catch up.

I have a pectina that is doing horrible, I've tried to feed it but nothing. How do you feed yours?

I entice the feeding response by putting the FM dust in the water column, then kill the flow and feed the pellets into the mouths. Try and wait a good :45-1:00 for them to fully consume before turning the flow back on.

**** that, too much work. I wasn't aware you had to feed them but they have been peeling.

which Fauna Marin "dust" or powder do u use? they have so many different products. the pellet thing would not work in my tank, my tangs would devour them in a second. i have a little baggy of some fauna marin stuff that Rukis gave me. not sure if its the right stuff though i think on the bag it says its for gorgonions or sea fans or something
