Welcome to the club, Chris. The best advice anyone will give you about SW is to take your time. That's easier said that done sometimes, but it will pay off in the end.

Ph will not be too important until larger sea life is introduced. As long as you keep your alk, and calcium and magnesium in check ph should follow.

If you haven't already a controller is a good purchase and an automatic top off (tunze if you got the cheese).

What type of coral and fish are you gonna keep? Scapes are tricky especially with mismatched style of rock. Most of us aim to replicate the cliff of a reef or lagoon etc..

What city do you hail from? Maybe someone close to you can get you setup and or help if you got it already.

Trust me, you will have people telling you do this and that an their tank is whack Arnolds. I've had reefers come over and say this and that and I take everything with a grain of salt. Some know their ish others I wish they could demonstrate what they are preaching.

Why am I rambling instead of saying hi and goodluck. Because I'm bored and don't want you to be like that wickedfish is a prick, well I am but I'm pretty cool and will try to help if you get stuck. All righty then....

No worries wickedfish didn't think you were anything but being nice. Im in Hesperia. And I have heard so much so I have to pick and choose what sounds logical and what doesn't. I also take what is most accepted. Thanks for all the welcomes and help.
