Any suggestion how to fine tune this skimmer? It’s a used skimmer, so I’m hoping it’s primed.

It may take a couple days before it settles in. Make sure the water height is 8 1/4” and make sure you open it up at first. When I had one, it took a couple days before I was able to dial it in properly.

Yours took that long? When I bought my first 160 it skimmer mud in like 6 hours.

No, it was pulling skimmate as soon as I started it up, but the level inside the skimmer changed for a few days until it settled down, so I adjusted the outlet until it was even. Also, if this is a new tank and there’s nothing for it to pull out, then it’s going to take longer to break in.
