Hello and welcome to the Crazy Corals and Los Angeles Reef Society, Zoanthid Grow-out Contest.
A highly anticipated Zoa Contest is finally here! Our coral selection will be a frag of This... "Incinerator"
A big thanks to our SCR supporter Crazy Corals for putting this together. We hope to have a nice colony of a very sought after coral. Zoa contest are usually much easier than SPS but this contest is about Growth, Color and head count. A contest that can have many survivors.
This contest is FULL. Thank you for everyone who entered. CONTEST STARTS NOW.
ALL "DAY ONE" PHOTOS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY MARCH 28
All frags are $30 each.
**5 pick up locations**
1. Pick up location is in Walnut, CA PM for pick up address.
2. Pick up at SCMAS meeting this Friday
3. I will do a one time Saturday pick up in LA on march 21st in one location. Location can be determined by a majority vote.
4. I will do a one time Saturday pick up in the OC on march 21st in one location. Location can be determined by a majority vote.
5. Location in Valley Village available for pick up. PM me for address as well if serious, limited availability.
Prize will be a $150 credit at Crazy Corals, runner up will be a Frag Cutting Kit
Here are the rules for all. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
1. Participants must introduce themselves by posting a picture of their tank and details of their equipment. The picture does not have to be a full tank but must include enough of a view to see what you are working with. It can be multiple photos. This must be in by March 28th.
2. All participants must arrange pick up and pick up at arranged time or forfeit their spot.
3. You must submit your first contest photo by MARCH 28. no exceptions. This will be your "DAY ONE" photo that will be used at the end of the contest. This picture must be a picture of the frag INSIDE of the tank. Please choose your location wisely as well as the angle of your photo so that you can continue to take pictures for the next 6 months.
4. You may submit one or two photos as your "DAY ONE" photo. do not submit more than two. At the end of the contest only one will be chosen (by you). If you submit ONE picture, you will only get to post ONE picture at the end. if you submit two pictures, IE:TOP and SIDE, you will get to submit one picture TOP or SIDE at the end to match the original. All participants will have only photo at the end.
PLEASE ASK IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND #4
5. every month you will have from the 15th to the end of the month to submit one photo. Failure to submit a picture will face elimination. Please only submit one picture.
6. Contest will end September 1st, 2015. Augusts' submissions will be the last entry. You may hold out as long as you want in August but must submit final photo(s) by September 1st.
