Official: SCR SPS growout contest

Frag will be under a 150w metal halide and a 36w power compact. I use Real Ocean Water and will be feeding and dosing but I will only reveal after contest. This dead coral its on is new I drilled a hole in it to stick the frag plug in but its a circle frag plug thing. Its place half way in the tank. My Calcium and Mag is low but pushun it up.

We need to start a new thread for parameters and pics

i found you can ship coral with usps for only $10. boxes are free also. if i could get my frag shipped that would be cool.

If you want shipped in plain box that's cool.I use fedex as they pickup from me. Will need to tbd time to run to post office if that's how you want your shipped. I paid $9 a box for my shipping boxes that are 2 piece styrofoam boxes.

Man talk about trying to dog a deal on a coral, why the hate. Color has nothing to do with growout. I think with all the different lights being used colors will be different between everyone. You are the ONLY one to complain about it. For better color folks use zeovit coralvitlizer.

Dude quit complaining. If you don't like the frag don't enter the contest. There is a sponsor on here selling a frag the same size for $80. Go spend the $80 bucks. I'm sure by the end of the contest my colors will look just like the $80 one.

Vivid aquariums has bright frags of strawberry shortcake for $40. I was there yesterday. I'm in it for the contest I'm just venting cause I wanted to use jays hawkins for the contest

Yeah he's picking up but he's still 2+ hrs from me. I'd drive down but it's impossible this weekend.
Hey jay can you just ship it ups ground and put it in a box with a bunch of paper or something. Ups ground is always here next day if sent from socal. and it's like $8-10. I know it's kinda a pain but cash is tight right now.
